FOCUS.AI! is an educational productivity and creativity app designed for students, including children under 13. We are committed to protecting user privacy and maintaining transparency about how information is handled.
1. Overview
FOCUS.AI!:
• Does not require account creation or login
• Does not collect names, email addresses, or contact information
• Does not create user profiles
• Does not use advertising networks
• Does not use behavioral tracking
However, certain information is transmitted to third-party service providers to enable app functionality, as described below.
2. AI Chat & Image Generation Functionality
FOCUS.AI! allows users to interact with an AI assistant for educational purposes.
When a user enters text into the chat:
• The message is transmitted securely through a server hosted on Vercel.
• The request is then forwarded to an AI service provider, such as OpenAI.
• The AI provider processes the request and returns a response.
• FOCUS.AI! does not store chat messages on our own databases.
When a user requests a training visualization or generated image:
• A description of the requested image may be transmitted to OpenAI’s image generation service for processing.
• The generated image is returned to the app for display.
• FOCUS.AI! does not store generated images on our own servers.
We do not link chat inputs or image requests to a user identity.
Data handling and retention practices of the AI provider are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service.
Users — and parents — are strongly encouraged not to enter personal information (such as full names, addresses, phone numbers, school names, or other identifying details) into the chat or image prompts.
3. In-App Purchases
FOCUS.AI! offers optional in-app purchases.
Subscription and transaction data are processed and stored by:
RevenueCat
RevenueCat securely manages purchase validation and subscription status in the cloud.
FOCUS.AI! does not directly store payment card information.
Purchase transactions are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple’s privacy practices.
4. Data Stored Locally on Device
The following information remains stored only on the user’s device:
• Chat history
• Trial status indicators
• App usage state
• Health metrics such as step count and estimated calories, collected automatically from the device’s built-in motion sensors if the user grants permission
We do not maintain external databases containing this information.
Health data access, if enabled by the user, is used solely within the app and is not transmitted to our servers.
5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Considerations)
FOCUS.AI! is designed for students, including children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because:
• No accounts are required
• No personal identifiers are collected
• No advertising or behavioral tracking is used
• No user profiles are created
FOCUS.AI! does not maintain personal data about child users.
Any information entered into the chat or image feature is transmitted solely to generate a response and is not stored by FOCUS.AI! on our own servers.

6. Data Security
Communications between the app, Vercel-hosted infrastructure, and the AI provider occur over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
We do not sell, rent, or trade user information.
7. Third-Party Services
FOCUS.AI! relies on third-party providers for limited operational purposes:
• AI response and image generation services (e.g., OpenAI)
• Subscription management (RevenueCat)
• Cloud infrastructure (Vercel)
Each provider maintains its own privacy policy governing data handling.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Because FOCUS.AI! does not create accounts or maintain user databases, we do not retain identifiable personal information to access, correct, or delete.
Subscription-related information is managed through Apple and RevenueCat.
