1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading or using FOCUS!, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Age Requirements & Parental Consent
FOCUS! is designed for students of all ages. Users under 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before use. By allowing a child under 13 to use FOCUS!, a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
3. Free Credits
New users receive a one-time complimentary credit allotment upon first use of the app:• 25 AI Chat credits• 6 Art Generation credits• 6 Homework Check credits Free credits are provided as a courtesy and are not a guarantee of ongoing free access. They do not reset, do not expire, and are not replenished after use. No free trial period is offered. Once free credits are exhausted, a subscription or add-on credit pack is required to continue using those features.
4. Subscriptions
FOCUS! offers auto-renewing Monthly and Annual subscription plans.• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.• You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.• Subscription pricing is displayed at the time of purchase and may change with advance notice.
5. Monthly Subscription Credits
Active subscribers receive the following credits included with their plan each calendar month:• 20 Art Generation credits• 20 Homework Check credits• Unlimited AI Chat Monthly credits reset at the start of each calendar month. Unused monthly credits do not carry over and expire at the end of each billing cycle. Subscribers may reallocate credits between Art and Homework at any time, provided the total balance remains unchanged.
6. Add-On Credit Packs
Additional credits may be purchased separately as one-time add-on packs. Add-on credit balances never expire and carry over month to month until fully used. Add-on credits are consumed after all monthly subscription credits for that feature have been exhausted.
7. AI-Generated Content
FOCUS! uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content, artwork, and homework feedback. All AI-generated content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional, medical, legal, financial, or academic advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated responses. Users and parents are encouraged to verify important information independently.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use FOCUS! to:• Submit harmful, abusive, threatening, or illegal content• Attempt to circumvent credit, subscription, or access control systems• Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or redistribute app content or AI responses• Use AI-generated responses for commercial purposes without written permission• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or age
9. Intellectual Property
All app content, design, branding, and code is owned by the developer. AI-generated responses are subject to the terms of the underlying AI provider (OpenAI). You retain ownership of the original content you submit to the app.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
FOCUS! is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access and are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from use of the app.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
